  • Condition: The stereo is in very good condition and has little cosmetic damage, other than a few scuffs from age and storage. The sound quality is good but on the play head there seems to be some pitting, that may be affecting some of the sound quality. Please see pictures and description for best idea of the items condition.

    This is a VTG AKAI CR-80D-SS SURROUND STEREO 8 TRACK CARTRIDGE PARTS/REPAIR.
    The reason we have marked for parts/repair is the play head on the inside of 8 track player seems to have some pitting and this may be affected sound quality, the stereo has been tested with multiple 8 tracks and still plays well despite this (Please look at pictures for reference). The stereo overall is in very good condition with some smudging and wear from its age and storage. All knobs, dials, and buttons are there, working, and in good condition.
