    Description

    This key is in very good condition. I just cleaned the brass plaque to read it. Looks like the date is 1918 and serial number looks like 771. Have a look at the photos above for condition and other plaque markings. The slate base is in very nice condition too. It measures 4 ½” long by 2 7/8”. All surfaces are in as found condition other than the plaque which I wiped off to read it. It could use a cleaning.
    I’ve seen this key with the type of knob on the one offered hear and I’ve also seen it with a more simple, plain, button knob. Not certain if this knob is original or not.
