vintage metal business shop garage Receipt Invoice Billing Machine "as is"

Description

Invoice machine typically found in service businesses and industries throughout the United States before computerization.  I think the brand name may have been on the small silver square at right bottom of the top.  There is no visible marks on the square and it does not serve as a button or mechanism for the machine.  As you can see, there are no forms in it.  These used continuous rolls of printed invoices with carbon copies. I never used such a machine and don't know exactly how it worked.  It seems to be in good shape with some wear and a few small dings.  The 3rd picture shows a rusty area but it is only surface.  Looks to me like some tape may have been placed over it for a long period of time but there is no stickiness on it.  This is offered "as is" with no guarantee that it works.  It is heavy (over 3 lbs) and so will be expensive shipping so please consider this if you are thinking about buying.  I don't know if businesses still use them or if forms for them are still available.  I think of it as a collectible for a garage display.  Maybe place a picture in it on the aluminum surface ?  It is a cool old item from yesteryear.
