This offering is for a vintage color slide that features the jazz stars of VERVE RECORDS in a promotional group shot. Included are Dizzy Gillespie, Ella Fitzgerald, Krupa, Petterson, Silver and more. This slide and others we are offering were included with a purchase we made some years back from the estate of a person that used to design record album jackets back in the 1950s, 60s, 70s. We were told that many of the images we purchased were unpublished "rejected" images from a variety of musical projects. We must point out the fact that rejected only meant that it did not fit the particular album layout because, as you can see, the image is great! This would be wonderful for making prints and exhibits or for use in a book or music box set.
