This Old Ironsides tall ship model is brand new, semi-assembled and ready for display (not a kit). This tall ship model was specially built by the plank on bulkhead method. Some light assembly is required you will need to attach the ship model to it's stand and attach the bowsprit into it's position. The model comes complete with a wooden floor display case, both items will be shipped safely together via Ground freight. You will have to install the model into the display case. The tall ship model is built exactly to scale as the original USS Constitution was with many details. This is an Exclusive Edition Model Ship. The
floor display case with legs
is made out of hardwood and has a dark mahogany finish. With it's distinctive design it will add elegance and beauty when displayed in your home or office. It is 100% fully assembled and comes with plexiglass panels installed on all sides. The case features curves on the sides which enables it to accommodate tall ship models with wide yards. The display case measures 40" long x 69" tall x 13.75" wide.

USS CONSTITUTION
was built by Colonnel George Claghorn at Edmond Hartt’s shipyard in Boston. Made from more than 1,500 trees, with timbers  felled from Maine to Georgia and armed with cannons cast in Rhode Island and copper fastening provided by Paul Revere. Launched on October 21,1797, she first put to sea in 1798.
The USS Constitution has won every battle she’s ever fought – over 40 of them! She’s earned her nick name “Old Ironsides” after a sailor saw a cannonball bounce off her hull. Resting in Boston Harbor, She is the oldest commissioned warship in the world.
