Description:
Performed visual inspection - refurbished with new capacitors, resistors, speaker, pots, switches, binding posts, wires, tubes appear NOS, mechanical hardware, cabinet appears spray painted, mains power cord, mains cord grommet, and knobs. The mains power transformer appears original. No visual issues.
Initial application of mains power via a variac. Started at 10V, ~30 second dwell, increment by 10V and dwell, continued until 120V reached. All further testing performed via mains power outlet.
Magic eye tube very bright and solid (see photograph)
V1 is a National 12AX7A (V1 originally 12AX7)
Tested tube opening/closing for RF and Audio
Verified sound and volume control
Verified speaker on/off
No further testing or examination was performed
