This gasket kit includes all the gaskets, seals and O-rings shown in the photo.
The primary cover gasket
is
a sturdy
0.062" (1.55mm) thickness vulcanised
fibre material
as shown in the photo. It will come to you perfectly flat. We never fold, roll or otherwise allow any gasket to get damaged in shipping.
Notice that this primary gasket
does not have a third hole at the lower corner of the large side (that is, it's an 8-hole gasket).  The 1965 to 1980 models listed should not need that bottom bolt hole cut into the gasket.
This shape of this gasket is actually an exact replacement for the original 60540-65, but it also goes where they specify a 60538-81 (the 9-hole gasket with the extra bolt hole) as long as your bike is one of the older models that does not need that hole.
However, best to check this actual photo against your bike or against your old gasket. As far as shape and size go, you can lay this gasket right over the top of the new gasket design with the extra bolt hole, and you will find that all the other holes line up perfectly. (Yes! You bet we already tried it before writing this.)
The inspection cover gasket
is foamet - rubber on both sides of a steel core. It will not leak and no sealant is necessary.
The derby / clutch cover gasket
is foamet - rubber on both sides of a steel core. It will not leak and no sealant is necessary. On top of the rubber, it has silicone beading on one side.
The oil seal
included is the one you will need
for the inner primary cover
.
The O-ring
in this kit is for the inner primary. The same O-ring was used up until Late 1982.
