Super clean former university property, serial # 01070146. First two digits of serial designate the year and the next two the month in which it was made, so manufacture date of July 2001. Handcrafted, with maple wood top & back and rock maple pin block, aluminum chord bars, and tobacco sunburst finish. Originally acquired four of these from the same source, all with similar serial numbers. Three of those were brand new and sold last year on eBay, but this one's box had been opened so it's probably been used a few times. The buttons for chords F & C major were loose in the box, so I put them someplace "safe" so they wouldn't get lost, intending to reattach later, then promptly forgot what I did with them. Replacements could be made by molding some clay to one of the existing buttons, filling void with 5-minute epoxy, then painting white and gluing to bars. Bottom picture shows how a complete one should look, if you scroll down through the listing. String damper pads are all there and appear in good shape, chord springs have good action. There's a ding on one corner, a small scratch on back, and light paint separation in a couple places of rear case seams, as highlighted with blue arrows, but excellent condition otherwise. Fast shipping, quality packed, online trackable.
Thanks for looking and for bidding! Items normally ship the next day, two at most, after payment is received. I pack things right, feedback mentions that frequently. All items are insured to full value and trackable online.
I return all feedback received, sometimes it takes me a few days, but it will happen. Items are described as accurately as possible and if said to be tested and working, then please be assured that is true. If sold "as is", buyer assumes all risk of any untested problem that may be present, with all sales final. I will NEVER auction something with known issues, without mentioning it in the listing, but I buy lots of equipment and sometimes acquire pieces that I either have no expertise to test, or don't have equipment on hand required to perform testing, so in those situations items are sold "as is". Auctions are always "what you see & read is what you get", so if something is not shown in photos or described in text, such as cables, power cords, software, etc., it's probably not included. I'll be happy to answer questions you may have, just please ask before, not after bidding. Sometimes UPS listed shipping will be substituted with FedEx and vice-versa, depending on your location and fastest transit time available.
