Orig 8x10 promo photo of jazz pianist & composer SIR CHARLES THOMPSON

Description

On offer is an 8x10 glossy black-and-white promotional photo of Sir Charles Thompson, probably taken when he was with Illinois Jacquet, in the late 1940s, and composed his signature tune, "Robin's Nest." The photo was taken by the studio of Bruno of Hollywood. This copy was printed in about 1960, by Moss Photo of NY. Thompson distributed it in his press kit in the early 1960s.
The print is in very fine condition. There are two pin holes in the upper left corner, in the margin outside the image area, and a small piece off the lower right corner. No marks on the back side. The Troy Street Images watermark does not appear on the actual photo
