Up for auction a charming hand crafted cross stitch stocking.  It is from the JCA Needle Treasures Collection based on a design by Beatrix Potter. The name of the kit was: "Jemima Puddle-Duck Stocking" and was adapted from a design by Beatirx Potter.
This stocking is completely finished and lined. The back has white felt and there is red piping at the sides. The size is 16 x 10. There is ample room at the top to add a name with cross stitches or you can add a name with a glue glitter pen.
I can personalize it and add a name for you at no additional charge.  Just email me after the purchase and let me know what name you would like. Included in the listing is a picture of a stocking recently personalized with the name ANDREW as well as CAILIN.

Kit contains: charted design, 14 ct white aida cloth, 100% cotton floss, gold metallic thread, ribbon, cording, backing fabric, needle, alphabet chart, ornament templates, complete directions and stitch instructions.

What a great gift that would be for someone who loves Beatrix Potter characters.
This was
a hand crafted model to a  kit which would have been on
display in a store to show the prospective buyers how the item will look when finished.
I learned recently that the name on many of these finished pieces identified the company as JCA Inc. with an address in Massachusettes. They evidently ceased operations and will not be making/distributing anymore needlecraft kits. These finished piece from kits are already hard to find and will only be offered occasionally perhaps on the internet. Per the JCA website:
