Description
This is a very nice Gorham collector plate that was done in tribute to the America's Cup from 1851-1970.
This plate is part of a series of plates that commemorate one of the sailing vessels that won the Cup.
This is for the America 1851 and is # 275/ 1000.
The plate measures about 10 5/8" in diameter and has wide blue border with a sailing vessel in gold around the border.
Backside lists the dates and winners from 1851-1970.
This plate comes with the original box .  Never displayed and in excellent shape.
Comes with outer box and foam packing material.
Box has light wear.  Light spots on plate are glare and not wear!!
Great for display in an office or den for someone that has an interest in sailing.
