It is in relatively good shape. It obviously needs new strings and there is wear on the fret-board. Obviously is got some play time in its day. The tuning mechanisms seem to be fine also.
It includes the original case as well as the embroidered cloth cover. Also included is the original tuning wrench.
The only real issue I found was the breakage of the ornamental "fingers" that project out of the string attachment area. This does not affect playability.
Replacing those individually would be a daunting task. One solution would be to cut away the remaining fingers and sand it all down, then black paint. If I were to keep this instrument, I would make a new piece by routing that profile into a long piece of wood then I would cut the grooves for the strings. In any event, the result will be impressive. This is a good quality piece.
