    Description

    ANTIQUE NATIONAL CASH REGISTER
    This is a very large and heavy register (easily over 100 lbs). It measures 27" wide x 21" tall x 16-1/4" deep (approx).  Made out of metal with simulated wood, has 6 columns of keys; 9 keys in each column.  Keys in the first column (starting left to right) indicate the type of transaction, the next column start at 0 and down to 0, the next from to , the next from to , the next from 90 (cents) to 10 (cents) and the final column from 9 (cents) to 1 (cent); therefore the machine can have purchases entered up to 9.99
    Model Number on this register is 1862-E with the serial number S492032BB.  Above the keys is the display panel with the wide cash drawer at the bottom and crank on the right hand side.  This was one of the first hybrid registers, working electronically and with the crank.
    Origin and other exact details are unknown.  Never tested to see if it is working, but seems to be in operable condition. The crank handle is broken, but piece is not missing and may be able to be repaired.
