Description
This is a beautiful-condition late-1800s or very early-1900s solid brass base for a National Cash Register. This piece would be mounted on top of the cash drawer and the register would fit into the 4 indentations. On the back it is stamped "1209.K. No. 3.
" There is also a very rough embossed mark that looks like "
L22
"? I do not know the exact register that this goes to. I did see a No. 452 with the same exact base but slightly larger dimensions. This one measures 13" x 19-7/8" x 1" thick. This piece alone weighs almost 6 lbs. Excellent condition, no breaks or cracks.
