This selectively colorized silver foil note is a 40 x 127 mm reproduction of a 1969 Woodstock Music and Art Fair admission ticket, struck from 5 grams of .999 fine silver. Celebrating the 50th Anniversary of the event, mintage of the proof-like note produced by the Mayer Mint is limited to 1,969.
Design of the Woodstock Three Day Ticket
The reverse is fully colorized with a beige watermark design, printed in black with the dates of admission and ticket price for the Woodstock Music and Art Fair. The ticket's serial number is printed in red, along with a line, star and crescent symbol representing each day of the event.
The obverse is divided into three distinct sections, one printed with the original ticket "NO REFUNDS..." disclaimer, one featuring Ian Rank-Broadley's effigy of Majesty Queen Elizabeth I, and the final adorned with the colorized Woodstock 50th Anniversary logo and Certificate of Authenticity. Inscribed "ELIZABETH II," "COOK ISLANDS" and "1 DOLLAR."
