Description
1965 HEATH IT-12SIGNAL TRACERA signal tracer is a device with which you can trace the incoming signal (from the antenna in a radio, or input jack in an amplifier) and follow it through succeeding stages. The stage where you lose the signal is the stage that needs repairing. It is also handy for locating intermittents and noise.
It can also be used as a small mono audio amplifier.
The original power cord has been replaced by a 3-prong grounded cord.
It was in used at my work bench for several years and works well. The eye tube indicates the strength of the signal.
Date codes indicate it was made around 1965.
