    Description

    This is an original stock certificate issued in 1904 by Farmers & Merchants Bank of La Grange, Mo.  This was apparently the 6th certificate issued as per number shown in upper left corner.
    The size of entire item (as shown) is approx. 9 x 16" --this includes the attachment on left side.  Might mention the ornate scene at top--shows an eagle, train and ship (also small baby eagles).
