    Description

    Very rare 1883 3 Cent Nickel for sale. This is the business strike variety with a mintage of only 4,000! Every letter of LIBERTY can be read on the headband, several hairlines can be seen and all of "UNITED STATES OF AMERICA" is visible. Almost all of the lines in the numeral III are complete on the reverse and the wreath has nice texture and detail. The coin is a bit darker in color with some light pitting/corrosion on both sides.
