The grouping of documents are dated 1852, 1853, 1856, 1857, 1858 & one is dated 1864.  They are receipts of goods and payments regarding the Schooner William McCobb, captained by Leonard Condon.  This grouping contains 24 documents, all of which have wear, fading and blemishing throughout.  There are creases and folds in the documents due to the manner in which they were stored.
Captain Leonard Condon
- Son of William Condon & Joanna McCobb Condon.  Born March 6, 1827 in Friendship, Maine.  He lived to the age of 72, when he died on May 31, 1899.
Largest document measures approx. 8 1/2" x 6 15/16";  Smallest measures approx. 6 1/4" x 1 7/8"
